On Saturday the 26th of January the yearly event of the Wadvaarders was held. It was organized at the “Maritieme Academie” in Harlingen. At the event a workshop was organised to present and discuss various apps to the Wadvaarders community. RiverGuide was also invited and we were happy to present. A great opportunity to show what we have developed based on the inputs from the previous workshop and an opportunity to get user feedback and find participants for the pilot.
Interns are an integral part of Teqplay. By facilitating multiple internships we share our knowledge and contribute to a solid education for the future generation of developers…. and tap into the pool of new talent.
Are you committed to achieve success?
It was until the late 1980s that the telephone with rotary dial could not be taken away from the desk. Exactly this old-fashioned way of thinking is still present in many maritime processes and companies. The tools have been modernized, in the form of smartphones and the mobile internet, but the way of working remained the same. It is as a new icing on the old cake. It’s time for change!
More cool ducks, more rubber ducking, more innovation! Opportunity for ambitious back-end and front-end developers with a passion for technology in an innovative and inspiring environment.
When you start a business with the aim to create tools that have impact on port logistics, you know there’s a world to win. The past four years we have been working hard and it is paying off. Thanks to our enthusiastic and talented team!

Teqplay started four years ago and set out to create smart solutions for port call optimization. One of them is Port Reporter. As from today, more than 15% of the port calls in the Port of Rotterdam are organized and controlled with this easy-to-use and pro-active tool.
Imagine: one of your vessels is about to call the port and is running into a delay. The entire planning needs to be adjusted and coordinated, and all involved parties need to be informed. The result: a lot of phone calls and e-mails eating your valuable time added to the risk running into additional delays. And we all know…Time is money!
